Thanks for stopping by Book Sniffers Anonymous. Would you mind summing up The Bellum Prophecy in 5 words or less?
Dark, fascinating, exciting, and magical.

With all the vampire books floating around, what made you want to write a novel about vampires? What sets this one apart from the others?
The Bellum Prophecy has so much more than you average hot vampire story. It is an imaginative journey that includes your regular vampires, mixed with Orions (good warlock assassins), vampire/warlock hybrids, dracs (evil vampires controlled by magic), Coras (evil warlocks), Aces (humans with abilities) and Paladins (An army of Aces and vampires).

What would you say was the hardest part about writing The Bellum Prophecy?
It is book one of a six (maybe seven) book series, so I had to lay a lot of foundation for the next books in the series. Making sure I had written down all of the events and time lines correctly was hard. Because it was my first book, it certainly took a lot of edits to get it just right too.

What do you do when you get writers block?
I use music to write, so if I get writer’s block, I just download more music.

Here at Book Sniffers Anonymous we always end our reviews with our favorite quote/part from the novel. I know this is a tough one but what would you say was your favorite part and/or quote from The Bellum Prophecy?
Of course there are so many, but one little conversation stuck out in my mind because it makes me laugh. Ethan Roux is talking with Edyn on the roof of the Roux Communications building in New York:

“I understand your anger. We can discuss this in my office. Just please come back inside,” he urged as he held out his hand.
“What?! Are you going to fry if the sun comes out or something?” I snapped.
He didn’t react but remained apathetic. “No, we have evolved to tolerate the sun.”
I threw my hands up in the air, “Great! That’s just freaking perfect! Everything I know about vampires is apparently useless!”
