If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who I share your data with

Every time you enter your name and email address into my comment form/rafflecopter/email subscription, your email & IP are unfortunately shared with that company. However, the only time I will share your information personally is when you enter a giveaway and are chosen as the winner. Whether I’m ordering a book to be shipped to you, or giving your mailing address and name to the publisher/author who is hosting the giveaway, those are the only two times your mailing address will be shared. I will not personally share your information otherwise.

How long your data is retained

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

If you are a winner of a giveaway, I will hold onto your email address for one month until I know that the giveaway items arrived. Then I delete the email containing your mailing address.

What rights you have over your data

If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data gets sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Instagram Feed WD

All the data received from Instagram via API is cached in WordPress database for some short period to provide front end optimization. You may request us to delete your Instagram data if it is accidentally cached in our website database with hashtag feed data. Instagram saves some cookies in browsers of website visitors via API data. These cookies are mostly used for security purposes. They are regulated under terms of Instagram’s Privacy Policy.”
