Once upon a time…the Blood Sorcerer vanquished the kingdom of Elden. To save their children, the queen scattered them to safety and the king filled them with vengeance.

Only a magical timepiece connects the four royal heirs…and time is running out.…

For practical Reda Weston, nothing could explain how reading a sexy version of “Little Red Riding Hood” catapulted her into another realm—face-to-fang with the legendary wolf-creature who seduced women. A wolf who transformed into a dark, virile man….

Dayn cursed the Sorcerer that turned him wolfyn and damned him to a lonely fate. As a beast, he mated with women to gain strength.

Strength he needed to rescue his royal parents. But as a man, he craved Reda’s heated, sizzling touch. With little time left, Dayn had to either embrace his wolf to save his kingdom…or fight it to save his woman.

I really like the element of different authors writing the story. Every author has a different perspective of what is going on and you don’t feel like you are reading the same book but with different characters. You really do notice the difference in personalities but it isn’t so drastic that you are confused as to whether you are reading the correct book. I did like Andersen’s development of the story and the incorporation of Red Riding Hood. However, for some reason I just wasn’t sucked into the story. I liked it and found it entertaining but I wasn’t engrossed with it. The story line progressed smoothly and there wasn’t too much or too little action taking place.

When Dayne is magically sent away by his parents, he finds himself in the wolfyn realm… which just so happens to be the very creature that he hunts. For 20 years he keeps his identity a secret and lays low until his guide, Reda, arrives to take him back to Elden.

Reda magically finds herself in the realm of Wolfyn and is terrified. She read the real story about Lil Red Riding Hood and saw how the wolf/wolfyn had enthralled Red and seduced her until ultimately killing her when he was bored. So of course she is petrified that she will end up just as Red did. However, she finds herself being saved by a prince, Prince Dayne to be exact and has no idea that he isn’t human.

So far all three stories have ended with the siblings ending up in Elden. Up next is Lord of the Abyss which follows the story of Micah and I cannot wait to see how everything pans out.

“He subsided, leaning on his braced arms so his head was beneath one of the shower heads, directly in line with the pounding spray, and closed his eyes. The simple act of trust fisted an ache beneath her heart. And when a shudder ran through him at the first slide of her slickened hands along the line of the claw scars, it tightened that ache even further. How long had it been since he’s been touched for the sake of touching, not as part of a transaction, but simple because the other person wanted to? Twenty years logic said.”
