Ah, the alpha male! He’s incredibly popular in romance novels these days. The alpha male arouses and fulfills all those primal needs that are common fantasies. He’s commanding and capable. He’s a fantastic lover. He’ll do anything to protect the ones he loves.
Don’t get me wrong. I’ve read some really hot romances in the last few weeks that had some fantastic (and sexy!) beta male heroes including At Any Price by Brenna Aubrey. Every reader wants a different experience when she picks up a book. I just happen to lean toward those yummy alpha males.
I’ve always been drawn to alpha males. Heck—I even married a big Viking throwback of a man! It’s no coincidence that the heroines in my books seek out similar mates—strong, powerful guys who just want to keep them safe…and make them cry out with pleasure. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Oh yeah I love a good alpha male. So blasted sexy! I’ve read a couple betas and enjoyed them too but tend to lean towards the alpha heroes most of the time. Especially if they’re a touch growly. Yum!
