IT specialist Cora Benning has figured out the key to her formerly disastrous love life—make it virtual. In the online world of Hayven, she’s free of her geek girl image and can indulge her most private fantasies with a sexy, mysterious master without anyone in her life discovering her secrets. Until her information is hacked and she finds herself working to fix the breach under two very powerful men—one who seems all too familiar…

Best friends and business partners Ren Muroya and Hayes Fox were once revered dominants. Then Hayes was wrongfully sent to prison and everything changed. Ren wants to get back to who they were. Hayes can’t risk it. But when they discover the new IT specialist is their online fascination, and that she’s never felt a dominant’s touch, the temptation to turn virtual into reality becomes all too great…

My thoughts…

Ren and Hayes are the guys behind this virtual reality, Hayven, that deals in kink. If you are a fan of the Loving on the Edge series then you will know what I mean when I say it’s pretty much a MMORPG (online role-playing video game) of The Ranch (a BDSM club). Anyway, everything is anonymous but each person has a list of their fantasies, hard-limits, and safe-words. However, one night, Cora is attacked by someone who claims to know her from Hayven. With her personal information being emailed out, she decides to go straight to the company and demands they look into it, which is where she meets Ren and Hayes.

Loving You Easy is one of the very few ménage à trois books I’ve read. It’s sometimes hard for me to wrap my head around it since I can never figure out how one doesn’t get jealous of the other. However, it totally worked for Ren, Hayes, and Cora. The story jumps between Hayes, Cora, and Ren. Hayes just got out of prison not that long ago after being framed for rape and since getting out, he’s been really closed off and pretty much just keeps to himself. Needless to say, he has trust issues, especially when it comes to women. Cora is just exploring her kinkier side and has only tested the waters while in the virtual reality of Hayven. She’s described as this tom-boy that pretty much marches to their own drum. Then there’s Ren who is fiercely loyal. When Hayes got locked up he worked himself day and night in order to get him released, and when he did, he wouldn’t let up on Hayes. He pushed him to get out of his comfort zone and to get back to life. All three of these characters had their own inner-demons that they were battling but they worked perfectly together as a unit. The love and respect they all show for each other really sets the tone for their relationship. Plus, the fact that they’ve all sort of met before their real introduction was icing on the cake.

Not only does this installment have a lot of sexy times, but there’s also a bit of suspense, too. You see, once Cora goes to the company behind Hayven and meets Ren, she’s brought on the team to use her hacking skills to help figure out who breached the system, and to hopefully keep others from doing the same. It soon becomes a suspicion that whoever set Hayes up and sent him to prison, is at it again, by trying to take down their company. So, while the three of them are figuring out their relationship, there’s this looming threat in the background.

Like I said, it was really interesting to see these three come together. Especially since Ren and Hayes weren’t even a thing leading up to this. I mean, they were friends who liked to have threesomes but they never blurred lines or crossed them. They always did their own thing. However, Ren and Hayes finally open up to each other and literally just start working on their relationship when Cora pops into the picture. I loved that they were all sort of exploring this new relationship aspect together. Now, I will say that if you are looking for a hot and heavy BDSM, this isn’t it. It was really like on that front. Really light. However, the author doesn’t leave you hanging when it comes to the steamy scenes. She managed to balance kink and smut with sweetness and passion.

While Loving You Easy is a bit on the lighter side of BDSM for LotE, you don’t miss it. This story had a great combination of sexy scenes, character growth, suspense, mystery, and lovable characters. It was a great addition to the LotE series. However, you don’t have to read the previous books in order to read this one. If we’re being honest here, I’ve kind of jumped around in this series and have never had a problem. 😉 If you’re looking for an amazing erotic romance with a lot of meat on the bones, this is definitely a must!

Favorite quote…

“They’d slept together like this countless nights. But back then they were boys who couldn’t touch. Boys who were scared. Tonight they were men who refused to be afraid.”
