Hailey Anderson’s deep, dark secret? She’s been madly in lust with her overprotective brother’s two best friends for years. Gorgeous woodworking artist Mark Allen and sexy doctor Tony Adamo have no idea they star in her fantasies every night.

After a nasty breakup with her abusive boyfriend, Hailey’s looking for a little distance. Headed for a two-week Hawaiian vacation with her brother and his hot friends, Hailey can’t wait to feast her eyes on Mark’s and Tony’s rock-hard, ocean-slick bodies. Even if she can’t touch.

But instead of treating her like their little sister, Mark and Tony have a surprising proposition: a monogamous ménage à trois. The three of them—and no one else. Both men want Hailey and have agreed to share her. The red-hot reality is even better than the forbidden fantasy. Until Hailey’s ex threatens their newfound happiness.

1thoughts
Hailey has been completely oblivious to the fact that both Mark and Tony have been in love with her for years. Everyone except her brother and herself have noticed that no matter how hard the two men try to hide their feelings from everyone, they just seemed to gravitate towards her. Hailey has always been close with her brother’s best friends and thinks nothing about the fact that they pull her on their laps, give her neck rubs and are always tentative to her needs. 0_o?  So when the two offer a chance to be with one of them, both of them or neither of them, it’s safe to say she is thrown for loop. But when the two men that you are in love with are willing to share you, would you turn down the opportunity?

Now I know what you’re thinking but you would be wrong! Tony and Mark are not gay or bi. Okay so maybe you weren’t thinking that, but that’s what I was expecting when I started this. In fact there is a scene where Tony and Mark accidentally kiss and Tony flips out. They are two straight men who happen to not only be best friends but are in love with the same person and are willing to share her.

Let’s not forget Hailey’s ex-boyfriend. Who was not only verbally abusive to her but physically abusive as well. She denies that she was ever part of domestic violence. So not only does the author approach a taboo subject of a ménage à trois in this book but she also touches base with a very serious problem that happens to more often than you’d think (One in four women has experienced domestic violence in her lifetime.) and like Hailey, the victim doesn’t even realize that they are a victim.

I thought the author did a fabulous job with this story. The characters had depth and even though the romance part takes off right from the beginning, it didn’t seem forced. Especially after friends and family members were saying “finally!” when they found out about their arrangement. You get the sense that even though a ménage à trois wasn’t exactly what everyone had in mind, they all knew that love was in the air (sorry couldn’t help myself with that one). I liked the added bonus of suspense with the psychotic, possessive ex-boyfriend who is still trying to manipulate Hailey into coming back to him. I look forward to reading more work from this author.

Mark runs home to pick up some stuff and Hailey asks him to grab her purse for her. When she doesn’t hear him respond on the other line he says
“Just trying to figure out which shoes I should wear to match your purse.”

One Thought on “Review: Sharing Hailey by Samantha Ann King

  1. Ooohh la la! I haven’t picked up an erotic novel in a while, but this one sounds promising. Hah it’s funny when one of the characters freak out about a guy kissing him. It makes me laugh
