A chance encounter with an alluring American Music Producer suddenly turns Cha Min-Jun’s world upside down. And as the days go on, and he readies to perform his duty to his country, his mind is elsewhere, imagining how he could seduce the beautiful American girl.
Luisa “Seven” Fernandez is tired of having doors firmly shut in her face, so she packs up and goes to couch surf with her best friends in Seoul. And it’s there that she inadvertently meets one of Kpop’s biggest stars in a bar’s bathroom in Itaewon.
For the happy-go-lucky, quick-witted, no strings attached, Seven, meeting Min-Jun can’t come at a worse time. Not sure where her professional life is going, and seeing as not much is happening in Seoul, Seven makes a drastic decision that affects them both.
While Min-Jun and Seven try to come to terms with events that bind them together, they also have to race against the clock before Min-Jun’s fans turn on him as news of his current not so single status is splashed across Social Media. Will the secrets that unite them help their budding relationship flourish, or will it all be for nothing?

“And then after the rain is gone, I’ll still be here, still undone, waiting for you to take me home.” He sang softly, harmonizing with her voice.
“You have a really nice voice.” Seven said, keeping her eyes on him.
“So do you.” He replied, letting his eyes take in her features.
Seven tucked her hair behind her ear and then shifted as she lifted her right hand to skip the song, and Min-Jun took her hand in his before she could.
“This is the best part.” He said in a husky voice, thinking that the song was talking to him, making him believe useless thoughts.
“Mine too.” Seven agreed as the violin, and the piano dueted together as the song reached its climax.
“But you’ll never come ‘round, you’ll never take me in your arms. You’ll just leave me on the ground because all you do is make me cry.” Seven’s voice on the demo sang as Min-Jun sang alone.
“This is so much better than Dissonant Anonymous’ s version.” He told her when the song finished, and Seven shrugged. It was clear that she didn’t take compliments well.
“That’s very kind of you.”
“I would like to listen to the other songs.”
Something changed in her eyes, and she pulled away, making Min-Jun feel extremely conscious then. He wondered as she pulled the phone closer to her if he’d come off as a creep.
“I should try and see if there’s service.”
“There’s none.” He said, pointing at the screen on her phone.
“I should just leave then.” She said, standing up as Min-Jun frowned.
“I didn’t know I was coming on too strong.” He half-joked, feeling guilty.
“It’s not that.” She said, looking at him and then scratching the back of her neck. A sigh fell from her lips. “I don’t – I date, but I’ve not dated in a long while, and I don’t do one-night stands.” She said, and then her cheeks flushed.
A smile played on Min-Jun’s lip, and he nodded. She clearly showed her character, so he didn’t think badly about her.
“I don’t do one-night stands either. Though I would make an exception tonight.”

Curious concept, but it sounds like it has potential! I can see why the fans would be in an uproar though!
It’s not my kind of book but I’m sure others will enjoy it.
