I’m linking this post to Sunday Post, and It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?
Is anyone even keeping track of time anymore? It seems like we are in an alternate universe or something where time is irrelevant. So, yeah… I’ve missed a few of these monthly wrap-ups due to me not having a clue what day it is anymore. Every time I turned around it was a new month, and yet we are still stuck in the same limbo. Back in June we were reinstated back at work. I have to say, it’s an odd feeling being back there, even months later. We still get people who come into the building who don’t want to wear their face coverings, or don’t keep their distance from others. It’s just crazy to me with the amount of people who are still traveling (both in country and from other countries) during a deadly pandemic.
My reading has gotten better. I’m reading a bit more than I previously was, and I’m finding new books/authors to read that weren’t on my radar. Not all of the books I’ve tried over the last handful of months have been winners for me, but I’ve found some gems in there. I’ve also read some forgotten and neglected books that have been sitting on my shelves for years.

Seeing the virus flaring up again makes me want to try harder. I don’t understand people. I was at the market yesterday and couldn’t get out of there fast enough. We have a state mask mandate indoors and outdoors, yet I saw people with no masks, uncovered noses, or mask only covering their chin (nice try!). I hope you can stay safe.
Yeah with everything going on ….it feels like we are living in another universe LOL Looking forward to things getting back. Glad to see your reading is better, and so many goodies you got to this month!
One of the things about this pandemic is how time has been so weird, days blurring together. And I agree about people traveling and not wearing masks. I don’t get it either.
Looks like you’ve had some good books. I did read Nerve a while back and liked it.
Its so frustrating that some people are so unwilling to do the simplest thing to mitigate the spread.
I bet the Betty White Book is fun to listen to though

Every week is like a Groundhog Week, time is working very strangely indeed, hopefully when my kids go back to school next week near normal service will resume.
There is still lots of people not wearing masks, not staying distant, it frustrates me no end.
Yeah, keeping track of time is difficult when every day is the same and there’s not much to look forward to. I’m glad your reading is going well. Happy August!
I went through a lengthy period of wondering what day of the week it was but August hasn’t been so bad for me really… Hopefully, it’s been a better month for you!
I have to flick over to see what you thought of Three Mages and a Margarita! I love that series… It’s one of those ones that gets stronger and stronger with every book. 🙂
